Fill In Commodity Information

Tell us the commodity you are shipping. A valid commodity code (STCC - Standard Transportation Commodity Code) is required.

If you are shipping a non-hazardous commodity and you know the 7-digit STCC, type it in the field provided. If you are unsure of the STCC, click the 'Find Commodity Code' link and select the appropriate information.

To add an additional description for your commodity, packaging (required for loaded Canadian shipments), or protective services details, click the 'Add Description, Packaging or Protective Services Details' link.
 

Add a hazardous material commodity code
If you are shipping a hazardous material, you must click the 'Find Hazardous Commodity Code' link to select the commodity and associated details.

Add hazardous material details
Once you select a hazardous commodity, you will be taken to the 'Hazardous Materials Details' page to provide necessary details. Once you have entered hazardous materials details and returned to the Ship form, the "section contains information" icon will appear next to the link. If you need to make a change, click the 'Hazardous Materials Details' link.
