View Account Summary

The Account Summary page lists demurrage activity for each account.  In this section, you can view account summary information by month, choose to view account details, or choose to view specific car details.

Step 1:  View Account Summary information

There are several lines of information that are available for you to review.  For an explanation of what can be found in each row, click on the next to each row.

Account - This is the type of demurrage account.  Here are the most commonly used accounts:

Account Status - Your account status can be open, closed, or billed.

Rail Cars Total  - This is the total number of rail cars within the account type.

Rail Cars Charges - This is the total number of rail cars for this account type that are subject to demurrage charges.

Account Days - This is the total number of demurrage days accrued for the account type.  Since demurrage is not calculated until the demurrage clock stops, not all demurrage days may show.  Once the ending event is recorded, the correct days will appear.

Account Credits - This is the total number of demurrage credits accrued for the account type.  Since demurrage is not calculated until the demurrage clock stops, not all demurrage days may show.  Once the ending event is recorded, the correct days will appear.

Total Allow - This is the total number of allowances for missed switches.

Total Charges - This is the total closed demurrage charges for the account type.  Since demurrage is not calculated until the demurrage clock stops, some cars may show $0 until the ending event has been recorded.

Freight Bill/Corr - This is CSXT's internal billing control number.

Step 2:  Select a month

You can view account information for any of the last 6 months.  The current month is the default selection.  To change the month, click on your selection in the drop-down box.

Step 3:  Select accounts to view

To view account details, select an account by clicking in the box to the left of the account.  

If you would like to view details for all accounts, you can select the 'Show All Accounts' checkbox.

Step 4:  View all cars or specific car details

To view details for all cars, click on the 'Show All Cars' button.

To view details for specific cars, click on the 'Show Specific Cars' button next to the 'Show All Cars' button.  To clear your choices, click on the 'Clear' button.
