The Pool Attributes tab shows you the CSX pools that we have set up for your cars. The following information is displayed:
Pool – This is the 4 digit ID that Car Management systems use to categorize car types and spare locations.
Cars in Pool – This is the number of cars in your fleet that meet the pool’s criteria.
Spare Location – This is the location where you, Car Management and Network Operations have agreed that empty spare car should be kept so that sets can be filled to the appropriate number of cars.
Remarks – Car Management, when adding or updating pool information, may decide to include general information about the pool or its cars.
If you have more than 1 pool, you can click on the Pool number on the left to see the attributes of that pool.
