The Fleet Management section of the Unit Tran Management tool allows our customers with private car fleets to -
more easily work with CSX to keep an accurate inventory of the cars they run on the railroad.
more easily find where their cars are on our system so that, together, we can more effectively use them for the private car customer.
The tool allows customers to add new cars to their CSX pools and move cars between pools if there is more than 1 pool. This new tool also allows CSX’s Network Operations group to be alerted to cars that need to be returned to customers so they can be used for their shipments.
