After selecting which train’s cars you have emptied and are releasing, you are presented with the consist of the cars that arrived with the train. If you are releasing all of those cars and not adding on any new previously held cars, simply click on the “Release’ button.
Keeping Some Cars That Came In
If you are not releasing one or more cars with this train, follows these steps:
Step 1: De-select the car by clicking in the check-box and a ‘reason for not releasing’ drop-down box will appear.
Step 2: Select the reason you are not releasing the car
Step 3: Click on the ‘Release’ button once you've de-selected all the cars you’re not releasing back to us unless you are also adding new cars to the departing train.
Adding New Cars to the Departing Train
If you are adding one or more cars to this train that you previously kept, follows these steps:
Step 1: Select the car(s) or 'All' cars.
Step 2: Click on 'Add Car(s) to Outbound Train.
Step 3: If you see cars that are no longer in your inventory, you can remove them by selecting them and clicking the 'Remove Car(s) from Inventory' button.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Release Outbound Train’ button once you've added all the new cars you’re releasing back to us.
