Step 1: Choose Release Trains Task
To get to the Release Trains task you can choose it from the task bar at the top of any Unit Train tool page.
Step 2: Select Your Release Location
If you do not have multiple locations, your location will automatically appear. If you have multiple locations, use the drop-down arrow to view your choices.
Step 3: Select Your Train From The List
To release a particular train, look for the train ID and reservation number then click on its ‘Release Now’ link on the right side of the page. If the train is shown in the ‘Trains On-Hand’ box it means that these cars are in your inventory.
If our data has not kept up with the movement of the train, we will show you the trains we think are en route to you. If you have received the train, unloaded it, and wish to release it back to us, you can click on its ‘Release Now’ link on the right side of the page.
